CLUTCH CABLE 82 Goldwing

Post by Devil-Doc » Tue Sep 18, 2012 9:07 pm

Is their a video around showing how to install a new cable? My clutch cable broke near the lever so I orderd a new cable. Having trouble removing the cable at the bottom close to the engine, it wont slide out from the slit. I thought I could just order the raw cable and just slide it into the old sheath but the new cable came with the black rubber tubing around it, so I have to remove the entire clutch cable and re-install it.

Is there any official routing diagram available?

When I did the 1908 GL1100 Interstate I followed the route it was in ,however I think the previous owner may have replaced it once already, and it seems to be in an odd route..?...That is goes through the triple tree as it crosses over to the left side from the right...I think it might be better if it goes around the triple tree..but I would like to know the correct HONDA route...

Any ideas....?
