Will regular car antifreeze work in our bikes? I know they say not to on the newer Hondas

yes, but it must not contain silica

The easiest solution is to by the Honda coolant. Buying from a car dealer is usually cheaper than the bike dealer. Some will fill your jug from their drum for even bigger savings.
