GL1100i interesting thought

Postby scotterichmond » Thu Sep 20, 2012 1:57 pm

Has anyone considered putting the 75 GL1000 cam and carbs on a GL1100?
I wonder if they will bolt on?
you would have to machine off the stuff for the points and advanvce from the left cam.
Hummmmmm, 1100 cc high performance cam and carbs.

Just dreaming

I`ve wondered about doing the same thing with 1200 cams and carbs. Like the guy at the NGW club who makes a modified hydro clutch for the 1100 clutch cover, Wah - Lah, no more cable problems.

I wish I had more time and money, I would probably try it.
