spark plug modification

Postby aznyaz » Mon Sep 24, 2012 11:30 am

I just read the "how to" article about improving plug performance and was wondering if the standard plug spec for our Goldwings (NGK) can be changed to a less pricey plug. The article didn't go into too much detail on plug options.

Less pricey...?
I can get them for abot $2.00 each at AutoZone, Napa, and other auto supply chains... :?:
New plugs for under $10...And they will last for quite some time....

Nope - just new plugs, properly gapped and a carb synch and valve adjustment
Routine maintenance is all it should need....unless you are planning on racing it...? 8-)

Nope, no racing in my future. Just need to get it running smoother, and if that's what it takes there's no need for any mods :D Might be fun to try sometime, though.
