How bad is this?

Postby Fulcrum » Sun Mar 17, 2013 2:49 pm

so I noticed some serious sludge on the number 4 valve intake but when looking at the number 1 and number 3 there's a lot of burnt up looking crusty crap on the back of the valves. My question is how bad is this and what do I need to do to clean it up if possible?

As long as i dosent affect the seal,or if the valves (s) are not fried-it should be o.k. Just a wire brush to clean them, dont use a file or grind them-then they will be toast. Regards, Johnyy

What is the easiest way to clean them? Do I need to pull the heads?
