just happened to notice this.

While cleaning the float bowl I happened to notice that the PO or someone notched out this flange I'm guessing to make it easier to work the pilot jet screw. Anyone else do this?

tampering with that screw will result in a federal violation with possible prison time and massive fines. replace the bowls.

Lol, sorry dude I was just playing along with your joke. I'm on a serious budget, no way I'm buying new parts when good used stuff is out there. Gaskets and such not included unfortunately! But was seriously wondering if anyone else has had this done to their carbs.
