HELP NEEDED
My wing has the digital clocks ,but has no neutral light or gear indicator ,any ideas welcome .

I would first look at the plug in the front of the engine that has the neutral/gear wires.
Each one should conduct to ground as each is selected.Here's a few of the types involved.
A manual can be downloaded form the "manuals" section....There are schematics.

Is the motor original? Are the clocks original? Are you certain that you have an 82 Aspencade?
The plug above mentioned is different on models of other than 83 Aspencade that is the only year with the digital clocks with a gear indicator, not on the 82 Aspencade as your title says. The 82 has analog clocks that are cable driven.
83 Aspencade Gl1100 is a 1 year only item with digital clocks.

I never knew that analog clocks were cable driven. :mrgreen:
I realized the year and model didn't match the question,that's why I included the different wiring possibilities.
It could very well be a combination of years and models mashed together.
