a little more info would help. was it running good when last parked? was it sitting a long time? check for gas to the carb. loosen the bowl drain screw and see if gas comes out. it may be a stuck float.

Don't know much about it, I just bought the bike a month ago.
had the carbs rebuilt the day I bought it. bike runs starts up no problem adjusted the valves last week.
re gaped the sparkplugs each one was at a different gap, noticed the # 1 cylinder not firing but it dose get spark.

since the bike is new to you, check the tank for rust. how is the fuel filter? sometimes tapping on the side of the bowl will unstick the float. if not it took me 3 tries to get my carbs even close. how are the timing belts? if you dont know how old they are i reccomend changing them. valve adjustment can alter carb sync.

compression, gas, spark to get fire sooo check compression if you have that..then is the plug wet or dry after running?? wet = gas dry not. Do as stated above..open drain got gas at least 1-/12 oz.??? but still dry plugs then blocked jets most likely..or bad float setting too high.

Floats are too high and not seating the needle...Bad needle valves. Float adjustment is very picky, has to be almost perfect.

Make sure to turn off fuel petcock every time.

Narrow it down by pulling drain plug on bottom of carb, at least one of them will not stop draining, there is your float/needle problem.
