I have the complete carb package in place. This includes the manifolds. I am having a tuff time getting the cables to line up. I did have the caps off carb 1 and 3 for the install. So now I have a complete package that I can move from right to left some but getting the cables all in place and ready is a pain. I was wondering if you leave the manifolds off and put them on last? I did have them off when I had the entire assembly removed. I heated the rubber manifold sleeves in hot water and the install went well. If I need to remove them again now can I get them off with the entire carb assembly in place or do I need to pull the rack again? Sure wish I had a 1/2 gallon less capacity and a 1/4" more room down there.

if you route the cables outside the frame, under the false tank you can attach them before you install the carbs. makes life a whole lot simpler.

Vetter. "Its like Deja Vu all over again".
After you wiggle them in place, get a coat hanger and make a small hook in one end, hook the end around the cable and guide it in place. Regards,Johnyy
