Sportbike Mufflers on GL1100

Just a question...has anyone installed sportbike cans on a GL1100 and would a rejet be necessary?

I have often thought that I'd like Hyabusa mufflers on my 1200 Standard. I think it would sound really good. As for rejetting? I doubt it unless you were also changing the air intake to a more flow through aftermarket type. Remember jetting is for air intake not exhaust.

That's what I was thinking of basically...Hayabusa mufflers. Think it wood look and sound cool, and probably a lot cheaper than a new aftermarket goldwing setup.

I`m building my own exhaust system for my 1100 standard and am using HD 1540cc mufflers, seems to me that as long as one uses a muffler with the same or greater flow rate it shouldn't matter what brand or type. Mine may be too big, but i got new take-offs for $50.
