Engine overheating

Post by Clemmennt » Mon Apr 29, 2013 3:50 pm

Hi Guys,

I have some troubles with my GL these times, it concerns the water cooling system. I notice that the engine cannot regulate it temperature. I can see in the equalizing tank the water rising and going over the maximun limit though the fan is triggered.
I think the water pump doesn't pump enough water so I guess that some "channels" of my radiator are stoppered.

What do you think about it? Have you already seen this type of issue?

Thanks ahead!

I have seen...Missing thermostats,broken pieces from the pump impeller,plugged radiator,leaking hoses,blown head gaskets,leaking crossover pipe seals,bad radiator caps.....
If your having problems, you should investigate all these things.
Restore it to the factory specs and it will run that way.
