Self Cancelling Signals with Electronic Flassher

Postby Thorgot » Mon Apr 29, 2013 10:09 pm

Hi:
I tried to search previous threads without any luck.

I am planning to convert turn signals and brake lights to LEDs and use an electronic flasher as outlined elsewhere on the forum. Thank you to all contributors!

My question is; will the self cancelling signal feature still work on my 1983 Interstate?

My second, unrelated, question is will LED driving lights work with a modulating device?

Thank you.

Yes, the turn canceller will still work. I did exactly that on my 1100, and everything still worked fine.

You can get modulators specifically designed for LED lights...but it isn't necessarily (ok, even remotely) legal to do. The only light that you can legally modulate is your headlight.
