Finding a rod Set Choke - the plastic lever

Postby blakeR » Tue Apr 30, 2013 6:01 pm

Hi, I need to replace the small plastic lever that sits on a pivot next to the right carburetors and connects the throttle cable, a long connecting rod to the two carbs on the other side and the two carbs close by.(has 3 connecting holes) The Honda catalog lists this as a "Rod Set Choke set' #16025-463-004. I could get the washers and keepers at a local hardware store but the small 1/2 inch plastic lever that has several connections needed.
Does anybody have one I can buy from a parts bike or know of a boneyard with one. Tks for your help, Blake
PS, I have a 1983 GL1100 I'm putting a sidecar on.

Sometimes it is easier to just buy one. They come up often enough.

Thank you so very much! I was actually searching e-bay for hours and couldn't find this. i suppose i used the wrong search words.
But anyway, I really appreciate you sending the link to e-bay. I jumped on that ASAP and bought my part.....now i can ride my bike. BTW, am putting a sidecar on as well.
