Thermostat from napa?

Postby B0b88 » Sun May 12, 2013 9:43 am

Finally got around to changing timing belts/hoses/thermostat and rebuilding the fan switch... The thermostat I bought at napa looked nothing like the orig I did install it anyways... Is this right?

The thermostat on the right is the orig..

P.s. timing belts were a B1t**! Well not really after I figured it all out!!(2 1/2 hours later) I'm proud of myself :) I released the tentioners before i marked the camshaft lol! Wondering why the teeth weren't lining up was driving me nuts until I seen that my mark on the cam way off T-1 lol it lines up perfect now!

P.s. I changed the belts at night with a worklight, daylight woulda have made things much easier!
Thanks for all the input and knowledge people :)

That looks just like the one I used from napa. It works fine I think it was part number 101.
