Hello Again
Got another question about the rear gears. it says to use Molly Grease 60. Would it be ok to use Valvoline synth Grease it is gray in color. Anyone know if that would be ok it says Molly 40 or 60 on the case.

Moly refers to the type of grease not a brand.
Its the sticky stuff that keeps the grease coating the gears under extreame pressure.
Synthetic works fine if it has the same Moly stamp on it.
I think mine is Valvoline in a can.

There are lots of grease products that have Moly in them, but nowhere near the amount required for the splines in the rear end. They must be 60% Moly - most "moly grease" has more like 5%. This is the stuff you really want:

Ok Thanks for the info WingAdmin But I put this high temp called Molly2 it is real stickey and the parts man says that is the best they sale that has molly in it and I have just got it all back together. And I called the Honda dealership and he said that, that was fine so god I hope it will be ok. Thanks again
