Grab Handle

Postby tunaboy » Mon Jun 03, 2013 7:17 am

I have a 1980 1100 standard. Did this bike come with a grab handle for getting the bike up on the center stand? Mine does not have one and you need to pull up on a luggage rack rail that is about 3/16" thick. This thing really digs in on your fingers when you pull the bike up. Was there a OEM stock grab handle that was used to pull the "hefty" wing up? I have looked on E bay and can't find one. I did a search for a lift handle and grab handle. Am I using the right name for the part.
Thx
Tuna

Nope no handle on 1100's the standards had a grab rail instead of bags maybe that's missing they come up on eBay once in a while..but there for the passenger to hang on to. Shouldn't be that hard to lift the bike..shocks maybe low, center stand not right?, tire low pressure..or YOU need to go to the gym...
