Carb Float seat filter

Hi Anybody have any insight on what I can use to glue the little fiters on the float seat that have come off. Its a 83 Aspy Thanks GF

???-not sure what part your asking about, but glues and fuel don't mix. I have never found a glue/epoxy that will withstand gas. My opinion is replacement, but hold out for others I may be missing something.

If the little filter is loose it probably has a crack. You really cant see the crack too easily when it is off because the crack closes but if you use a magnifier, or strong reading glasses look close around where it seats. No glue made will hold up to the fuel, at least none I would trust.

J-B Weld will stand up to gasoline no problem. Regular J-B Weld will work fine, but the specifically recommend these two variants if it's going to be continuously submerged in gasoline:
