So the solenoid crapped out. No easy fix unless you desolder and rebuild.

Time to get rid of the dog bone fuse anyway and replace it with a blade type automotive 30 amp fuse.

No shortage of solenoids in the parts bin. They physically slide right in the same space. Mission accomplished.

But wait, what is that empty space on the top left hand corner?

Of course, its where Mother Honda would have put a voltmeter.

But can't leave it on all the time? Maybe leave the (+) terminal free and attach it when ...

You can get an LCD type battery meter. It has about 6 colored segments that represent the voltage. Those you can install behind the cover and leave them on, voltmeter would need a relay that turns on with the ignition.

Thanks, that's a better idea.

Must be careful though. Once begun it will result in extensive instrumentation, ammeter, oil pressure, oil temperature, broad spectrum O2 sensor x 4. Space may become insufficient. :lol:
