Postby dnesbitt69 » Fri Jun 14, 2013 8:41 pm

my regulator has gone bad on my 83 aspencade
part number SH538-12 2.0
my question is does it have to be a 2.0, or will any SH538-12 be OK

I can't say for sure, but I know that there are many Shindengen (that's the manufacturer, and where the "SH" comes from) rectifiers made for many bikes that will work. As long as it has at least the capacity required by your bike, it should be able to made to work.
