83 gl1100A replace back brakes

Post by src68 » Tue Jun 18, 2013 3:39 pm

Hello,

I learn by seeing. i saw the pics but i would learn a lot better if there is a video out there. Does anyone know of a video on how to replace back brakes and everything needed to get to teh back brakes? it would help me a lot.

thank you. i am not mechanically savvy. in fact not that handy that much. This will be my first brake job. i have done a few on cars... but never a bike.
any assistance would be great.
thx

Punch them out with a pointed chisel/little screwdriver. They will come out.Clean up real good when you reninstall them.
This is common for them to be hard to get out.
