Question On sync carburetor

Postby whiteeaglepwl » Wed Jun 19, 2013 5:46 pm

Hey all
Got a question on the sync the carp again, Ok I can get carb 1 and 3 adjusted but my Gauges read 48 On carp 3 and 1, Ok I get that, Ok then I go to carburetor #2 to match carburetor #4 ok they are around 20 or 30 on the gauge I get them to match no problem, But when I try to balance Carp 4 to match 3 it just will not match on carp 4 will not match carb 3 if I try to bring it up to 48 on the gauge it kills the engine so my question is what should I do all the carps match except carp 4 to carp 3 and it runs good even tho the are not balanced so is their anything else I can adjust that I do not know about
Thanks for any help you can give me Phillip

For the carbs to sync, everything has to be correct. Ignition, intake gaskets, exhaust seals, air filter, timing, valves set acuuratley, idle jets- all must be dead on.
If one or none of these is not correct - you will just be chasing your tail for a very long time. Regards, Johnyy
