How much? The book says 5.9-6.1 oz.
I read somewhere up to 10 oz.

From the 1100 service manual:

Front Fork Capacity (after draining):

1980-1981: 220cc (7.4 oz)
1982 - : 270 cc (9.1 oz)

Actually, reading the rest of the is part of the manual it appears that they mention years only if that year is separate from another listed-so, in this case 1982- means 82 and beyond. If you look at the next space in the manual it mentions spring length and then states years, including 1983. Make sense?
So-bottom line-9.1 oz Not the 6I put in according to the other info I had from the book I was using.
Ugh!
