Tac movement.

Postby mikie 1954 » Sat Jul 20, 2013 6:15 pm

 I have an 83 gl1100I that the tac stopped working on. When I took the cable off it was broken so I got another one. Before I install it I wanted to make sure the tac input turned good and free, it's stiff to spin is this right or should it spin freely? Thanks

Got a answer on another site, it should move freely. They said to use liquid graphite but I could not find any so I used Hoppe's gun oil, said it does not gum, harden or turn rancid. So far so good, time will tell.
