Need Good LED Replacement Bulb Advice

Post by patbrandon1 » Thu Aug 08, 2013 3:20 am

I need to change to LED light bulbs to reduce power consumption because next summer I will have my trailer done, and will have to put lights on it. (That would be safer right?) ;)

I have read WAY too much info, and have searched this forum, and many others looking for the best options. My main concern is this...Visibility! These Wings' lenses were designed for incandescent bulbs, and some LEDs I have seen on some bikes, are hard to see. Another concern is this, I went to autolumination dot com and the bulbs there are $39.99 EACH!!!

Could someone please send me, or post, a comprehensive list of the bulbs they have used that are highly visible, and didn't cost them their retirement and kids college fund? Where you bought them, the name of the bulbs, and any other info to help me get mine set up, may save my brain from the info overload it is having from all this research.

I have already replaced the flasher to accommodate for the LED's.

Your time is greatly appreciated.
