progressive shock replacement

Postby BikerBuck » Thu Aug 08, 2013 9:46 pm

Wingadmin, thanks for the great how-to article on rear shock change over. I have used progressive products in the past but was having difficulty in getting the correct model # for a '83 Aspy. many sites said the 416's would not fit.
One of your pics showed model 2216 so I new I was good to go. Conversion went without a hitch and it really made a new ride out of the old girl. Now my Wife says- Lets take the bike-.What a great website.I'll post pics of my cruise control project in the future.

Yup, replacing those tired old shocks really does make a huge difference. Glad you were able to get the job done!
