Has anybody had an luck fixing a crack with JB Weld or something similar? I found a hairline fracture starting at the rotor bolt hole.

Every time I have tried an epoxy glue to seal a crack on an engine, the glue has become very brittle from the engine heat and started to leak after a week or two, getting it TIG welded would be best. Depending on where the crack is you might be able to get it welded without removing the engine.
