I have a GL1100I with Honda factory fairing and clarion stereo cassette and intercom system
I can see the station lit up on the dash and the FM light working. I think I can hear the stereo very faintly but can't get anymore sound out of it.
I would like fix the problem or wire in a new stereo cd player
put have no wiring diagrams for the system.
Does the antenna have a regular plug on the end of the cord like a car stereo
and if so where do I find it.
at this time of the year I want to be riding not pulling everything a part looking for the end of the antenna cable

You should be able to pull the left pocket out and the antenna con. should be right in there pretty easy to access. Yes it's the same as a car. I would wait till you're done riding for the year and install it properly if your wanting to install one, it will take some time getting everything worked out and customized for a car radio. Speaker con's. should be right behind turn sig lenses. Keep in mind P O may have done some customizing of his own.

On my 1100, the antenna cable came up underneath the left fairing pocket near the radiator fins, then went into the fairing where they connected to a splitter. From there, it split - one cable went to the CB tuner, the other one went to the radio tuner, which is located underneath the right fairing pocket. You can see some pictures of it on How to tune your CB antenna.
