GL1100 Front Brake Line

Postby nickwarhead » Wed Aug 28, 2013 10:18 pm

Its looking like the oem replacement for the front brake line (the left going to the front master cylinder) is no longer available, and I'm going to have to find a general replacement for it. Does anyone know the minimum length of brake line I would need, and the correct orientation and size of the banjo fittings on the ends?

I don't have the info you need but, have you checked for ss braided lines?
Should find them easily on ebay. Got a set on the 1000 and consider them
worth the money.

Definitely go with stainless braided replacements. They are far superior to OEM, and make the brakes so much stronger. Definitely the best single upgrade I did to my 1100. See here: HEL Stainless Steel Brake Lines
