Post by parvo101 » Fri Aug 30, 2013 2:57 pm

I want to upgrade my brake lines on my 1981 GL1100 to stainless steel lines. Where can i find a set? Also is there anything else i can do to boost braking performance?

Right here in this forum is a good place to start. Will be ordering mine soon.

I bought a set of S/S lines from these folks - install was not difficult (I did have the fairing off at the time).
I also had the rotors trued by the folks at truDisc and installed new EBC pads.
The brakes now work as they should! You should consider that the original rubber lines are 30-ish years old and need to be addressed!
