1981 goldwing needs some help

got my old 81 gold wing running was very supprised let run for awhile turned off would not start put ford solinode new starter on before i got to your site bike started right up runs pretty good put half can seafoam in tank and oil ran good going to drain all fluids oil and colant going to take tank off and flush whow do i really need to take rear tire off also noticed that the oki mps-200 were linking alittle bit is ther any fix kinda like to restore it good old bike

When you say tank if you mean the gas tank then yes you do need to take the back end off the bike to get it out

Just a suggestion, but you may want to replace the radiator lines as well, if your bike is 29 years old, do you really want to take a chance of those lines failing? Im pretty sure that in the DIY article, Wingadmin has placed a replacement part from NAPA, that will save you $

Yup, it's a cheap radiator hose intended for a small car, and if you cut it in half as shown in that article, you end up with exactly what you need to replace both the upper and lower radiator hoses on your Goldwing.

The hose is a NAPA NBH7733.
