Tire Talk

Postby cjeffers9 » Sun Sep 22, 2013 8:17 am

Havnt been on for awhile which means the old girl is running good. So here's the deal left. NC on weds the 18 th pulling a trailer. Loaded !! Tools , clothes. everything I have that couldn't live without it was hard to fit your life in a 82 Aspencade and a trailer. Rear tire was only couple of months old 3 maybe 4 thousands miles. Check it when I pulled out. Just outside of Lincoln Nebraska while walking the dog. Didn't tell you the dog came, too? Well the tire is slick can't see air yet but its close. People talk car tires next summer I'm riding and pulling the trailer again. I've seen the car tire size that was said would fit on the bike but can't seem to find it 22828now. Who has put a car tire on a 1100 and what size ??

I also can't assist with ct. I don't think there is one that fits the 1100 though. I am interested in your trailer arrangement. Is that a ladder hanging underneath? Have you checked the tongue weight? Looks like it might be a bit too heavy. Just wondering.

Yes that's a ladder. I was afraid to check wieght went through everything 5 times getting down to just what was needed. But its heavy but pulls great. This was a one time pull never carry that much again. And could have done with out the ladder but you know how them damn roofers are.

Well you answered the question but not "the" question. :? Why are you traveling with a ladder? Just curious.

Never know when her husband will come home and need to exit a window. No sold the truck in Nc was trying to get out here in the spring but just didn't work that way so the bike was the work truck the last few months
