83 Gl1100 rear shocks ?

Can the rear shocks be rebuilt? My don't hold air, so far most guys are saying to replace with progessive 416. if I can replace some seals I can save some $

I rebuilt mine on my 82 aspy, new OEM seals and Progressive Suspension springs for less than about $100. Not hard to do at all. 8-)

I got the seals from the dealer and the springs online at Amazon 8-)

You will be far better off replacing the air shock with Progressive 412's. Cost about 275.00. Better ride trouble free existence.
