That's right , I m going do it because I want it.. I always get what I want or I kill myself trying.. I'm going to install a heater system to my bike,,,go ahead and laugh, but I shall be nice and toasty riding down the road.. while you are freezing your ass off  ..So there....I plan to capture the heat coming off the headers and we all know that heat rises, so I am going to try to make tubes that go into the vents on the fairing thus blowing out hot ass air upon my body...Or or fasten tubes there and place them under my jacket  ..Between that and any heated devices I should be fine in zero temps... Hey Hey, you know those little battery operated fans, two of those and you have a massive blower..

Why not get a small car heater core?
Box it up, put a tap to regulate the flow of hot water from the engine (the tap can be cable operated from the handlebars), a two speed fan behind the core and flexible duct tubing.... job done.

There are probably small car heater units that can be mounted on the bike as a whole, then just plumb and wire it up.
Ock. in Oz.

Hi.

Good idea. Small fan. If you look into computers there are lots of small fan running on 12 volt. I have one installed to cool my cobine integrated rectifire en charging regulator. Fan from PC does not draw much current and can be controled by a reostate.

Good luck.

I'm just messing around but, sometimes weird idea's work..Heat does rise,, I think the wind will push it up onto your body..I might just try it just to see what happens...

Electric vest? Heated hand grips? I'm just covered in hair... keeps me warm.

We've only ridden in one real snow storm. Crossed the Rogers Pass on the May long weekend. With 4" of wet snow on the road - i stayed behined a transport truck - it was worth it - 35C on the other side... :D
