KRAZZYY CARB QUESTION!!

Postby foxhound0511 » Fri Oct 11, 2013 10:45 am

Hello,
I have a 83 goldwing that im rebuilding my vb48c carbs on. All my needles and floats cleaned up just nice!
But looking on saber-cycle, randaaks, and bikebandit there are kits with all the needles and floats. do they just make
an o-ring kit? I dont even need the float bowl seal. just the little o-rings where the carbs mount to the manifold and the fuel
tubes :geek:

I'd buy these instead..

http://randakks.com/collections/honda-g ... master-kit

and at least this if you are into the carbs that far..

http://randakks.com/collections/honda-g ... master-kit

or this basically all the rubber stuff in the carbs..and the only true rebuild answer and no I am not Randall or nor do I work for him..just his stuff is best

+1 on Randaaks, cost a little more than others I found but I didn't want to take a chance.
Don't skimp on the carbs., and don't think "these o-rings don't look too bad, I'll just reuse them"...You'll be doing it again.

Unless you notice something really wrong with floats, needles, jets, etc...all you really need is the rubber. Just take you time and do them one at a time.

And for gods sake stay away from Sabercycle at all costs. You will not be happy with them and may just as well flush your money down the john. 8-)
