colorrite.com Honda R104 Candy Muse Red.
http://www.colorrite.com/product/honda-r104-candy-muse-red-1317.cfm

If you try to use their search you'll see it only goes back to 1986 and since the number is different from yours you can't be sure, but it's pretty close, may be the same. A sales rep can probably tell you whether or not it is.

Thanks for your reply. .. I contacted colorite and the reply I got back was their paint is a 3-stage process - base, top color, and clear coat.
I also came across these guys: https://genicolor.com . I contacted them also. Their reply back was that they can custom mix and supply the touch up paint in a paint pen using the R-104C-U paint code.
Here's a paragraph from their website:

"Our paint formula includes both the base coat and the clear coat that adds shine and protection against rust, UV rays and abrasives. Based on principles of nanotechnology, once the paint has been applied, the clear coat rises to the surface to form a glossy, impermeable ultra-resistant finish. With Genicolor, you can now make all your touch-ups in one easy operation*."

I'm thinking I will go with the Genicolor paint pen. .. I'll post back the results.

I have no experience with paints or suppliers, but if I understand what I read here http://www.vsource.org/VFR-RVF_files/BHondaPaintCodes.htm the code can be the same from year to year but the paint can look different so it is important to include both the code and the year. Good luck.

The paint pen arrived today. It was ordered with both code and model year. .. The paint color was mixed as a special order as it is not normally kept in stock.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the shade of color that I received. IMO, it's an exact match. The paint pen makes it easy to do toouch-up's.
