I recently bought some aftermarket and they seem OK - only put them in 2 months ago and so far so good.

The only silly question is the one you don`t ask. Everything else is game.

Starter clutch noises are normally attributed to "gunk" buildup.Run SeaFoam in the engine for a hundred miles or so.Replace the oil and filter.
If its really bad,a second treatment may be necessary.

Thanks for sharing your experience with me.
Engine has to go out anyways, so I can replace stator as well.
l am going to see if Honda parts are available for the starter clutch, if not l will get parts that David suggested. Couple more dollar's is a less painful then getting the engine out again.

It's me again,
staŕter clutch parts:springs, rolers and caps are available from Honda and to my big surprise they cost less than in US,
$47 canadian .l also noticed that Honda has reduced prices for other parts as well.
