Front brake light switch

Postby deegee » Sun Apr 27, 2014 11:56 am

Hi Guys,
I just noticed that my brake lights are always on.I've pinpointed it to the the front brake light switch. It won't go out unless you push the lever forward but when it settles back to place the light comes on.
also when should my marker lights come on? the po wired it on a separate switch just like the cooling fan.

thanks

Dan

The levers shouldn't wear out in a way that keeps the brake light on. Does the brake light go out if you push the lever forward? If so, is the lever too stiff for the spring in the master cylinder to push out? Do the brakes work OK?
