Buying myselfe a goldwing - Need to know length

Postby maloki » Wed May 26, 2010 4:46 pm

Hello. I have bean browsing the net and found this wonderful forum for goldwing lovers. Tomorrow I will be buying myselfe a Goldwing 1100 -1982, but I need to know how long it is from the front of the front wheel to the back of the back wheel, so I can decide on the size of a transport van to rent.

Most grateful for an answer.

Good luck with the new acquisition I measured my '82 Aspy and she's 7 1/2' from the front of the front tire to the back of the rear tire. Overall she's 8' long by the time you add in the trunk and rear light bars, etc.

If you look in the member's pictures I just uploaded pics of my repaint to my gallery.

Have fun with the new 'Wing

Of course I just realized you are in Stockholm--probably a measurement in feet is not as helpful as one in metric....

7 1/2 feet = 228.6 centimeters

Phew, that was a good nights sleep after almost constant driving 1050km. The Goldwing was in a very good condition, so it was definitely worth it.
