Unknown wire harness
1983 gl1100i. Where the spark units' wire harnesses are held by the metal holder, there is a third harness below them. What is it for? I noticed that mine is disconnected.

Re: Unknown wire harness
Could you eyeball the plug...tell how many wires and there color codes.??? Take a picture and post it.?
The only thing that comes to mind is the turn signal canceler module....or low air pressure warning module...

Do '83 Interstates have a pressure monitor? There wasn't one on it when I got it.

Re: Unknown wire harness
Some did or so I remember.you know how it is .
I'll believe anything on a 30 year old bike that has had a few previous owners and unknown history.
I've seen strange things added, missing and changed over the years.
At least honda kept the same color coding for most all of them.
With several schematics, one can usually find what suppose to be there.

Re: Unknown wire harness
This wire harness doesn't appear to be anything custom. It is being held by the same metal retainer as both the spark units. It's all three in a vertical row. I had a picture of it but I can't seem to find it.
When I say wire harness, I am referring to the plastic clip that has several wires going into it.
On a slightly different note, I also found this unknown wire underneath my coils. The wire is green and is laying against the radiator cap.
