Cruise control on the cheap

I figured a great way to use the palm buster for your throttle [ 81 Gl], It works for me , It's safe, you can use it as it's designed and or use it for a cruise control, so you can lower your hand on a long run, leave the rubberband at the right end of the throttle where it should be, take the plastic buster part and flip it over, opposite the way it goes and push it far to the left of the throttle and when you want to lock your throttle just spin it over the top and it will rest on the front of the front brake handle, its easy to adjust and it won't stick if you throttle down... it will just slide off that's why I say it's safe..If it doesn't hold the throttle then just put the rubber band to the left and use it with the band under it, I use it without the band so it moves freely it makes it safer...Now don't go kill yourself doing this, ok.. this is for the open road only, be safe and ride on...Littlebeaver

Or just get a Vista Cruise throttle lock. I've got a throttle lock on mine, it's a godsend on long-distance trips.
