GL1100 82 model

Where exactly is the fitting you can hand crank a 1100 from located? I think mine is locked up, it's not hydro locked as I have the plugs out. the manual I have doesn't show how to do it.

You can access the bolt on the end of the crank by removing the front side cover on the right hand side of the bike.Or you can put the bike on a stand and put it in 5th gear and turn the rear tire over by hand,also removing the sparkplugs will make the job much easier.

Look on the back of the engine. You'll see the rear stator cover, with a large bolt on it. Remove the bolt, and you'll find the manual crank located underneath it:

Clockwise only on that stator bolt. CCW can loosen the bolt without you noticing it.
