Gas Tank

Postby wingnut123 » Fri Jun 04, 2010 7:26 pm

Hey All,
I have a 1982 GL1100i. I guess some electrical genius decided to do some creative wiring where the tool kit goes. What I was wondering is can someone who has a nice well organized false tank send me some photos so I know where the fuse block and so on are suppose to go, instead of just hsnging there. Thanks all.

I have an Aspencade, so instead of a tool kit tray, that space is filled with the air compressor. But you can see the fuse block at the very top:

In this picture, with the tank removed, along with the air filter and air filter housing, you can see the uncovered fuse block at the top, just to the left of the coolant reservoir:

Ignore that horrible rat's nest of PO wiring on the left side - it's since been excised from my bike. :)
