Howdy from Grande Prairie Alberta, where riding season is day to day.
Does anyone know how to display the time permanantly on the Gl11000A?

Well you don't want to do that with the existing clock. It will kill your battery within a day or so. You can try installing something like this clock/voltmeter/thermometer:

It shows the temperature, time and voltage at all times (even when the bike is off). When the bike is on, it lights up. I had one of these on my 1100.

Sounds like a great alternative....anybody wanna buy a slightly used Glodwing stereo?

Buy a cheap digital wrist watch..cut/take the straps off and glue it or Velcro it where you like..$5 or less..
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE
