Progressive fork springs are what most folks replace the OEM with. http://www.progressivesuspension.com/pr ... -gold-wing They are somewhat stiffer than OEM however.

I have an used OEM set still within spec..$50 plus shipping
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE
