Postby indianakid » Sun Oct 19, 2014 11:01 am

i am looking for a direct replacement for the gauge bulbs. the "new" #57 are too large to fit into the gauge. i would like to go to an LED bulb. does / has anyone done this? what was used? what color? where purchased? Thanks !!!

the clymer manual i looked at had #57 bulbs for the gauges. i took mine apart and found that it has #158 bulbs. replaced them all. good for another 30 years. time to go ride!

Even though the manual says they are 57's, when I upgraded to LEDs, I found the instrument cluster bulbs were actually 194's.

I used LEDs from http://www.superbrightleds.com, type WLED-x-x, all colors are available:

Good luck!
