I am unable to unlock the casettte player and wonder if anyone knows how I could pop that lock without destroying it or calling a locksmith.

Are you sure you have the correct key for it?

I knew you were gonna say that ! Yeah,I am able to open /unlock everything else on the bike. Unless there's a separate one just for that.

If you were able to open it before, and it no longer works, I'd try spraying some graphite lock lubricant into the lock and work the key in it for a bit. None of my trunk locks worked before, it was as if I had the wrong key. One of my helmet locks was the same way. I sprayed some graphite into them, worked them back and forth for a while, now they work perfectly every time.

It won't hurt to spray it into all of the locks, actually, as a preventative measure.
