hi. so left front +rear signals work fine right front stays on right rear no light. swapped bulbs both work when i set the alarm all four indicators flash. so far i've only had time to check wiring from rear flasher into pannier connectors nothing found i did however find some white residue (dry) around the rear bulb socket . removed most of it i think but still no joy any help welcome thank you

It could be the connections are dirty, or corroded. I had a similar problem. My front turn signals would go out and the rear would not light. I also had no brake lights. My problem was the fuse block. I had power at the fuse, but the wire off the fuse was corroded. After I cleaned it up, the lights started to work. I really should replace the block, but it can wait for now. Check the connector under the seat and look for corrosion and bare wires. I had those too.

It could also be a bad connection in the aftermarket alarm wiring. I don't know how it is wired into the lights, but you might want to check where the alarm is wired into the bike, and look at those connections.

ok the turn signals are working again whilst tracing the wiring from right front removed left faring pocket completely (first time since i had her ) i have never seen so much spaghetti wiring of all colours going everywhere and nowhere . im in no way electricly minded but i found a corroded piggyback connection ( no idea what it did )but it was live as i found out when it sparked on a bolt fixed that turns out it was for my fairing clock which now works? then tried indicators and they now both work. no idea if that was the problem or if i was just lucky. only thing now is the right indicator bulb on the idiot lights is not working the bulb is fine (tested on left side ) but i can live with that :-)
thanks to all you were of course correct as usual
