how do i remove my brake pedal on 82 gl1100?

I'm sorry if its been ask but I didn't see it in the how to section. My brake pedal is froze solid it won't budge an inch. I was told if I took it off cleaned it packed it with new grease and put it back on I would have rear brakes. My wife bought me the bike as a Christmas gift and they told her it needed a starter and brake booster because the pedal won't move. Well I've learned their is no booster just rear master cylinder. So I'm hoping if I clean it I will have rear brakes and not a suicide ride anymore. I have to roll it off and that's hard with just front brakes with a short driveway any help is greatly appreciated.

The foot brake lever has a tendancy to rust solid on the mount.I suggest that you mix ATF with acetone 50/50 in a small ammount and soak the pivot area a few times over a couple of days.Light tapping with a hammer will loosen it up.Remove the keeper split pin and work it off for further cleaning and grease.
Verify the starter "may" be bad by load testing the battery and test probe the wire that feeds it for volts as you push the start button.Start relays do fail too.
The starter,if bad, should be able to be repaired.

Nothing to do with your brakes.

Check the dog bone fuse by the battery Take it out and put back in. Most will turn to dust when you remove it.
