Fluid leak between mater cylinder and resevoir

Postby theiggy » Sun Jun 13, 2010 11:59 pm

I have replaced my O ring and then the resevoir on my 1980 1100 interstate and I am still getting a fluid leak. It actually appearsto be leaking most from the top of the lid when the bike is leaning (ie on the kick stand). Any ideas on how to stop this?

Have you replaced the rubber gasket between the lid and the reservoir?

Yes with the new tank. I used silicone yesterday and so far so good.
