ANy tips on getting the drive shaft in? It is a tight place and I am having trouble.

You've probably got it by now...it is a snug fit-check real close to see if it has been bumped or burred-if it has, use a tiny file or saw blade to clean it up, then wire brush it (car battery cable brush might help), then wd40 to clean, then light coat of grease. Line it up...and tuuuurrrnnn just a little maybe...it will start. Don't force it to start, but once it is started, then you can use your "persuasion tool". it really should slide on pretty easy if it's clean and undamaged.
My exercise bike is a goldwing.
